i came across this today and thought it might be of use on here.
Thanks for sharing
Interesting thing is a breif glimpse of an M561 Gama Goat at about 3:47 mins. into the video. Is it possible this is actually footage from USARV Vietnam archives?

I think whoever put this together just pulled footage from wherever they could, similar to History Channel shows. They show an M26 hauling a landing craft that is a WW2 shot, the GamaGoat, and others that are either WW2 or Korea and a couple that I believe are Indochina war footage.A Youtube project. Wayne
Yeah I figured it was bogus.

Unsure of what is what but there are some good shots of guntrucks that could be helpful.
Not really bogus, just poorly put together and edited. There is some good information included. As I said the History Channel routinely does the same type of cobbled together footage. The convoy stuff and the gun truck footage is good. Wayne
Talking about Vietnam gun trucks reference stuff, here’s a link to download Transportation Corps historian Richard E. Killblane’s Convoy Ambush Case Studies - Volume I - Korea and Vietnam
I had already posted this on the old forum many moons ago…

When I say bogus it was specifically about the Gama Goat footage, but this inclusion in the video is what peeves me about “Historical” accounts of different video reports, the producers of these documentaries, don’t take the time to ensure their material is accurate and thus, falsely informative.

Yes it is sad that they can’t take the time to look at what they put out. Unfortunately I’ve seen the same in a couple of military history magazines, pictures with captions that don’t match the pictures. Wayne
