I wanna build a PzH 2000 in ISAF camouflage.
the retailer i order mostly from (superhobby) only has 2 choices for the colours.
1st would be AK-Interactive AK 11323 RAL 6040 F9 Helloliv & AK-Interactive AK 11325 RAL 1039 F9 Sandbeige
the other would be Hataka Hobby HTK-C281 Light Olive (RAL 6040 F9) & Hataka Hobby HTK-C278 Sand Beige ( RAL 1039 F9)
which of them would colour match better? also i think i would prefer the hataka because they are lacquers, would that be the right choice? I’ve never used Hataka before but I think I’ve read good things about them, I suppose I can just thin them with mr hobby MLT?

Go with lacquer if that’s your preferred medium.
Don’t sweat the color. I’ve seen ISAF vehicles in Afghanistan - the cammo didn’t last long before it was covered in dust. If you give your model a final “filter” of the sand color, you probably wouldn’t see much of a difference between either choice of colo(u)rs.

yeah the only time i used acrylics was for brushpainting details, otherwise i only spray tamiya, gunze and such…
yeah lots of sand on top would probably the norm.
we dont get to see much of the interesting stuff in austria…
the most advanced thing i was in was an OH58-B Kiowa sitting next to the minigun on a training exercise

Julius, I can recommend the Umtarnfarben Set from Vallejo, which I have used myself on a Boxer and a Dingo so far …

Thanks for the pictures @SableLiger , The AK RC colours seem to be sold out in all the stores i frequently order in EU.
@BlackWidow why would you recommend against the Hataka?
But yes the Set would be nice for future ISAF vehicles with slightly different camo schemes

AK makes a set with the 4 German Bundeswehr desert colors in it
