Your comments in the M60 reference discussion greatly influenced my decision to build an ESCI M60 now and save the Takom M60 for later.
Sadly, I did not take your advice on the Trumpeter M1A1/A2. Online discussions of that model leave out some really troublesome issues. (For example, a few commentators discuss fixing the turret shape but none mention that the turret cannot rotate through 360 degrees after making that correction because the exterior topography of the entire model is completely borked.) Even though I stepped into the cow patty on that one, it is a good learning experience. For example, “Pay attention to Gino because he is trying to help you.” Ha ha!
Two years in, I heavily favor new tool models but some old tool models are cheap and fun practice builds.
