After building the Monogram version of this kit, I saw that Kinetic had made a kit of it, and after completing the Kinetic Mirage 2000D I really wanted to build the Kinetic version of the Thunderstreak. Kinetic versions of the kit were and are quite pricey right now. But I discovered that Italeri had reboxed the kit and the price was too reasonable to pass up! So I’ve spent the last few weeks building the kit and I have to say that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself. Kinetic has more or less copied the old Monogram kit but has refined it nicely. They provided specific space for nose weights so that it doesn’t tail drag. And just generally refined the kit itself. So here it is in all its (coughs) glory.
