Iwata Eclipse HP-CS nozzle

That is true, but I think the nozzle cap should be replaced also with .5mm.

Yes. I wasn’t familiar with the Iwata parts.
Check this diagram

and you can see which parts are common and which parts are unique and
only fits a single variant or a few variants.
The 0.5 nozzle cap is “only” for the HP-BCS but the needle cap in front and the head cap behind are the same for all HP-nn.
The 0.5 nozzle fits between the same parts as the 0.35 nozzle.

The diagram shows that the nozzle cap (2), the nozzle (4) and the needle (17) are the required parts for a 0.5 setup.

Yes, needle+nozzle+nozzle cap.

Switching to the .5 headset is a good idea, but replace all 3 parts, 2, 4, 17 as a unit.
This will give you the best value & usability.

As noted here, the H&S has its quirks but i fount it very easy to use and clean

My Evo 2024 arrived, I like the feel at first look, looks like quality tool :slightly_smiling_face:
The trigger is truly different from the old Infinity, like more “stiff” ( I don’t know if it is the right word) and responsive. Feels like the Eclipse trigger, but kind of different in the same time. Probably will get used to it with the time, but is much better now. Also the airflow is softer than on the Eclipse.
I made a quick test with both 0.28 and 0.45, but I think for general work will use the bigger nozzle which is also capable for fine detail. I even managed to do some mottling with AK 3rd gen acrylics which are the hardest to airbrush from my paint collection.
I will see how it will hold with the time, but it is great airbrush I feel.
