Captured by US Marines per stencil on sides of tank. I was amazed to see one WW2 Japanese tank never mind two.

Thanks for the walkarounds Wade. You know I’m a big IJA tank fanatic. Those two examples are amazingly complete and in excellent condition for IJA equipment, maybe the best I’ve ever seen. The Type 97 is a Shinhoto Chi - Ha, it has the later up-gunned turret.

type 97 seems to have addtional armor on front of the turret
