Just for Fun

With all the hot weather we’ve been having, I haven’t been doing much modelling. I brought these figures in from the garden, cleaned them up and repainted them, what do you reckon? The gnome was a present years ago from my sister-in-law (now deceased alas) and was a sort of joke as she reckoned it looked like me! The lizard was originally bought by us for my Mum (also passed, which is why we got it back). She was nuts about dragons…

That “giant” iguana would look great in a sci-fi, or fantasy, dio with select 1/35 figures!

Reminds me of the “Journey to the center of the earth” film, starring James Mason.

need to see the side by side with the gnome to see the accuracy.

Looks great. I would add a clear coat (maybe gloss) and release them back into the wild.

That lizard reminds me of the “life size” mid-1800s dinosaur sculptures in Crystal Palace Park! Great paint job!

Funny your should say that, he’s now standing under the willow tree and yesterday the sun shining through the branches reminded me of “Pea Pattern”!

This lizard looks incredibly realistic, especially the skin texture and patterns.
