Here’s something a bit out of the ordinary for me. It has been put together as a 70th birthday present for a mate, who owns several bikes (including a Kawasaki 1000, but not quite like this - it was as close as I could get!). It’s the Aoshima kit; not the easiest but we got there in the end. The instructions didn’t mention using the chainguard, but it purports to be a road bike, so on it went. They also forgot about the brake line from the rear brake! The screen is an attempt to have it smoked like the box lid, but I’m not 100% happy with it…
