Ki-84 Arma Hobby 1/72

Because F-6D is waiting for rivet maker and A-20 Gunship is almost done I started the next model.
And I finished also the Sukhoi Su-22 “Spirit of Stefan Stec” for my friend.

This time it will be a Ki-84 Hayate from Arma Hobby in 1/72nd scale with Eduard PE set and exhaust.
The model:

I’m going to make it in this marking:

Till now I built the cockpit and painted it Nakajima Interior Green (MIG acrylic paint no 269):

I prepared fuselage, cockpit and engine to assemble:

I also glued PE parts in main landing gear compartment:

Wings and fuselage glued together. Only a bit of putty was needed (rather my fault).

I masked white colour. Yellow colour (Tamiya XF-3) on place. Now camouflage colours.

Painting done. I used Vallejo Model Air paints for camouflage colours.

Time to remove masks and check is everything OK.

Andy, that really is nice work.
Convinced me that I really do need to get one of these kits.

Just went through your build blog again, Andrzej. Very well done! :+1: Congrats on finishing the Hayate. Several years ago I built the 1/48 Hasegawa Ki-84.

You’re welcome. It’s a great build. I’ve got one of their Hurricanes to do. Looks good on the sprues.
What colour did you use for the props? Same green as the rest of the build?

Thanks guys.
Stephen, no. I used A.MIG no 240 paint. According to Arma it’s propeller green.
