KM Models has a new variant of the P-107, the Leichter Schutzenpanzerwagen P-107 U-304(f)
Looks like an overweight 251.
It’s a shame no manufacturer has pushed one out in plastic (apart from the 3D) yet……
As much as I would love one it would be $95.00 Aussie dolllars for one and that’s not even including shipping yet
I denigrated here the P107 Pionnier because its straight copy of the wrong Saumur vehicle. I feel happy here with this gorgeous variant ! No need for me to buy the pioneer version and take 8 years to make a scratch armour body !!!
The model I was waiting for 40 years is here !
The wheels are better ( not yet perfect ) and I could squeak about side walls thickness ( or the front louvers ) and loops for straps. I’m no expert but I think it is due to the 3 scales printing possibility. A thinner wall for 1/35 would be nothing at 1/72, here is the reason !
Also I regret the low tension for the track. Or the non rectangular front vision hatches.
Anyway I will need one or 2 kits ! Without waiting 20 years more.

I’ve always wanted plastic P-107 U-304(f)'s and Somua MCG S 307(f) half-tracks. I’m not sure why they’ve never been done by a big name manufacturer, especially when they’ll do vehicles with very small production numbers, prototypes, test-beds and even paper panzers. Anyways, It’ll likely be expensive, but I’ll pick one of these up. I have this Kampfgruppe Von Luck/Hedgerow grenadier diorama idea I can’t get out of my head that’ll involve these or a 307(f) and I don’t want to work with the resin offerings. This is very interesting, to say the least.
It’s $62 USD, so it’s not overly expensive.
