SFAIK, they have links to the update sets, but DE-US postage may be the killer

As said before there willl be NO production version for Bundeswehr. We will probable choose the FFG WISENT based AEV. As Border states, the kit a trial vehicle only.
So wikipedia is wrong?
My information is from a guy who works with Bundeswehr.
i think ill just pack it away incomplete till i decide what to do
You should treat everything in Wikipedia with suspician until you verify it from another source. Anybody can add anything to Wikipedia so unless someone is writing an entry who is completely knowledgable of the subject matter, there could always be errors or misinformation.
I finished mine last week I wanted to make the demo version for Bundeswehr I also did not find reliable information if the vehicle will enter service. I did not do any weathering to avoid additional handling there are many small fragile parts I found this video on YouTube https://youtu.be/SKhFkTbJd4Q?si=rWp31hQuZN3MMGZu
Build it as the Swiss version?
Whenever I build one, I go for the Swiss version.
What is the aim your finished model will show? (Prototyp/Serie, which Nation)
And what is your aim about level of accuracy?
Without a defined aim everything is right.
I translated this press briefing from Rheinmettles websits regarding the Kodiak AEV
Order value around 295 MIOEUR
Rheinmetall has achieved another significant success with its pioneering armor Kodiak. The company has been commissioned by the Bundeswehr to deliver the new armored pioneering machine. The budget committee of the German Bundestag approved a corresponding template on April 14, 2021. The Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and Use of the Bundeswehr (BAAINBW) has now concluded a corresponding contract with Rheinmetall for the manufacture and delivery of a total of 44 pioneering tanks worth around 295 million gross. The first system is scheduled to run in 2023, and the order is to be completed by 2029. The contract also includes some additional services required for commissioning and use for training and logistics, such as training courses and funds, documentation, measuring and test equipment, spare division requirements and special tools.
Rheinmetall Kodiak - a real pioneer
The pioneering tank 3 Kodiak is a pioneering tank on Leopard-2-basis developed for the needs of modern pioneering forces, and are currently over 40 pioneering tanks Kodiak in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Singapore in use. In addition to the Bundeswehr, other European and NATO partners have also expressed interest. Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Singapore also strengthen their battle tanks Leopard 2 fleets with the mountains 3 buffalo-his arms brother, also developed by Rheinmetall, from the Leopard 2-based vehicle family.
The well -balanced chassis with the 1,100 kW drive package at the stand of the Leopard 2A7V offers excellent mobility. With its good terrain, the Kodiak can fully follow today’s high -mobile battle associations. The newly developed protective package makes it one of the safest systems of its kind.
The outstanding feature of the Kodiak is the three -part excavator arm positioned in the middle of the vehicle front. This middle arm concept offers the advantage that the crew during dredging work can keep the better overview and the vehicle can also be used in narrow points. Furthermore, it enables a maximum work area with a minimal dependency of the vehicle orientation. This simplifies and shortens the operation and thus contributes to the protection and safety of the soldiers. The powerful kink excavator can also be used for lifting and moving loads. In addition, a variety of other under protection is available.
The Kodiak still has a clearing sign with cutting and inclination angle adjustment. If necessary, all change tools can be loaded on multi-hook lift change pallets, which are also used by the Bundeswehr by default.
The versatile wind turbine in the front area of the vehicle is equipped with two spill winds that can be used independently. They enable maximum flexibility in the use of absolute reliability. The comparatively light wind ropes can be introduced to an object quickly and without additional aids or tools, which minimizes the stay outside the highly protected vehicle.
Six cameras on the excavator system, clearing sign and on the front and rear side support the three soldiers consisting of the trip and in the fulfillment of pioneering tasks during the day and with restricted perspective. Each crew member can display the camera image that is important to him on his monitor at any time. The cameras allow the tool change and all pioneer -specific tasks to be carried out under tank protection. An auxiliary unit for energy generation (Auxiliary Power Unit) delivers the electrical energy if necessary, without the main engine being in operation, and at the same time supplies the combat cooling and heating system.
For self -protection, the Kodiak has a fog in the caliber 76mm on the latest state of the art as well as the remote -controlled weapon station “Nattter” developed by Rheinmetall. The weapon station can be equipped with a machine gun in the caliber 7.62 mm x 51 or 12.7 mm x 99 (.50 BMG) or absorb a 40mm grenade machine weapon.
In addition to its original function, the Kodiak is of course also suitable for operations as part of the disaster aid. In the early summer of 2020, the Dutch armed forces used the pioneering armor Kodiak, together with mountains 3 buffalo to combat forest and surface fires in the German-Dutch border area.
