Related to the La-11 on the bench… I’ve heard rumors that Chinese “volunteers” aircraft had (Korean) national markings above and below both wings , Soviet “advisors” just had them on the lower wings. And the Chinese markings were on a white background, Soviet ones painted directly on the skin. But, like rumors of Sasquatch, I’ve not seem any definitive proof. Any validity to this or was it what ever the guy painting them felt like. (Also, why do some NKPR markings have breaks in the blue / red circles, some not)
