I don’t know if those will make our lives easier if the parts are made of brass photo etch. They will be a pain to put together whether supergluing or soldering. I think they would be better represented 3D printed like I tried:

It looks like only the brassy coloured parts will be photoetched with the lower parts in a grey colour most likely 3D printed!

Hopefully we will see a D-Day version also!
I have only seen pacific versions on kits and the Resicast DDay version but it and AM Eduard detail sets are not existent now or hard to get.

I would like a D-Day version as well…

Red and blue are two 3D printing materials, and only yellow is PE!

Excellent, thank you. Will definitely be looking forward to that.

Hey Reynier - what is the significant difference between the PTO trunks and ETO trunks? They look awfully alike.

The easiest is from HobbyEasy https://www.hobbyeasy.com/

I’ll be honest… Your guess is as good as mine…

Maybe there isn’t much difference apart from vertical/ angled wading stacks. Research I’ve done there appears to be differing models at the start of trials and landings prior to D-Day. But then a standard kit was implemented from 1944 for both ETO, PTO.
