Lebanese R35

During my 25th wedding anniversary I remembered that back in my honeymoon in France I bought a rare R35 Heller model.

At first I thought about making an Italian on used in the Sicilian defense in 1943, but meanwhile time passed, and new and better models came out; so I’ve decided to convert it in a Libanese one.

So I improved the details, changed the tracks and put a 2pdr Gun.

I love these old kits being given the treatment and brought up to a good standard; good work!

clip action is really critical because the plastic is really fragile. I’m forced to glue the link with the hinge point broken

I really like projects like these that utilise old and forgotten kits. I hope you keep going.

I finished painting the model and I started appling the decals. My son made me notice that on the back of libanese’s turrets was present a cards seed (like other french tanks); in this case spades.
