Today i paint the right side of the hull
Seen to late there is a repaired damage on the backside… also correct and again
Now corrected and painted
And next…
The turret was unspectacular to build and paint… first…
And now start to build the PE’s Nicely done by Rye-Field and easy to bulidLet’s do the tracks…
This is a very special point to do this. We have some new we have worn and we have burned out segments. My first impressions i think use the PSM “Gefechtskette” but how to mold the burned out segments… After a long term to search and headeck i found the Friul track with seperate rubber pads… a little bit expensive but okay - i need this…
Forget the expensive “track-coloring-fluid” i used “tiffany-glass” fluid for the tracks. Half the price and you became “black” and “copper”
I don’t know which Leo 2 you’re representing…
The one that was touched up and on display in Moscow’s “Patriot Park”.
Or one that was destroyed and abandoned on the battlefield…
But so far, you’re doing a great job replicating it.
As for the tracks. I agree to do a combination of worn / damaged / burned out tracks at the point of impact (POI).
tracks look goo so far; add some work out pads, then leave the rubber pads off at ta few sections of track where the fire melted them off.
Thanks for your Feedback.
I will represet the moscowe’s one. (take a notice the T80 wheels on the left side) Not completely the moscow’s presented, i have pics from exactly this vehicle destroyed in the field… i think i do a mix between recovery and exhibition
Here a little update from the tracks build.
So you could see the PSM’s isn’t correct useble…
