Sorry Darren. This is not the latest Leopard 2 at all. This is a one-off trials and demonstration machine shown at Eurosatory 2010. This was actually developed BEFORE the current in-service 2A7, though export versions, notably Qatar, were based on this spec (though look completely different in service).

Thank you for the clarification as I struggled even with the excellent Tankograd title. So many small details that I just ended up going with what the manufacturer stated it was. The Leopard is one of those tanks that has so many small changed details that I really struggle.
