Liang has a new 3D printed tool for Zimmerit
Ok, this is pretty freakin, sweet, I wish I had one of these back in college building Dragon Panthers and TIgers.
Sweet that it combines having a roller on one end and a stamp on the other. Two tools in one.
Agreed what a nice universal tool! Might have to buy this and put the tamiya scraper type tools away.
Wonder what they are using in the demonstration for the zimmerit. I don’t think a tool of this type would work on my wall spackle and paint mix
How do you order from Liang?
I find typing “Liang” and “zimmerit” into a search engine generally provides results.
Apparently, doing a search is the only method that works. I had tried to contact the USA POC listed on the Liang website. No luck. Just goggle “Liang tools” and there are several sites available. Thanks for your response
From China via Ali-Express is one possibility. I had good experience previously but YMMV.
The Liang kit, you can find on ebay fairly easy. It has several tools, so you can replicate the different variants of Zimmerit used on most German vehicles.

Especially the “Waffle” type zimmerit, seen on some Stug III vehicles.
I actually went ahead and ordered the full set.
Fantastic site! Many thanks
