Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330

I recently finished up my Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330. This is the 2006 Lindberg reissue, and not the most recent AMT reissue. For the age of the kit, it went together quite well. Although I did have issues with my nemesis (radiator hoses), and the rear bumper gave me fits. Go figure.

The vision for this build was that of a regular, every day, commuter car or “grocery getter”. Nothing fancy, just a good, all-around car. The build is box-stock, but I did use the dash decals, Dodge logos, & Michigan plates from the most recent (2023) AMT kit. Color is Dupli-color Santa Fe Tan with a Tamiya Light Blue XF-23 interior.

The Leaning Tower of Not Much Power:

Coincidentally, I finished this Dodge exactly two years to the day of when I finished the AMT 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 (also a Lindberg kit):

Nice. There was a time when you could pretty much mock anything Lindberg did, except their cars. They were always fiarly nice models for their time,

Thanks.

Yes, I agree. Lindberg cars can be pretty nice.

Silly me! I forgot to post some interior pics.

I think you’ve nailed that particular look- the color certainly suits it!
