Lith sof

I am looking for good, clear photos of Lithuanian special forces (AITVARAS) moving in Afghanistan with a Land Rover. There are two versions- I am interested in the one more similar to the classic “Englishman”. Below is a link to a video showing these vehicles

How about doing a joint workshop? Do you have good photo material?

I don’t have photos for you, but I can tell you what you’re going to need - two kits. A Defender XD “Wolf” WMIK kit, and a Defender 110 Hardtop. I’ve done this for a British version. The roll cage out of the Wolf kit is not correct for what you’re doing - you’ll need the one from the hardtop kit. Assemble it first, then make your changes.
Remove the 2nd and 4th bows. Then remove the long rails along the top sides and move them higher. You won’t be able the reuse them so you’ll need Evergreen no. 222 - 1/16 rod.
Add the square weapon mount from the WMIK kit, with or without the ring, depending on whether or not you add the gunner protective kit.
Remove the diagonal support from the front bow and use the same material to add an “X” to it, just like in the WMIK kit. The center roll cage piece will not meet the front bow because it is higher than that of the WMIK kit. No problem - just add spacers underneath and attach it to those.
Use bench seats from hardtop kit according to how you want it set up.
Obviously add armor underneath.
Hope this helps. Look forward to what you can do.

Making it left hand drive is on you.

I am going to build this vehicle. I am collecting information and photos. I think I need two Hobby Boss models for the build – WMIK and RSOV (left-hand drive). I have been told that I need to use the Hard Top version and the tubular cage from this model, but I think buying a third model is a bit too much. The vehicle is loaded and has camouflage nets, so maybe there is no need to use the Hard Top elements. What do you think?
