The precise designation of the system is Raketenwerfer 110mm auf Selbstfahrlafette
or RakW 110 SF.
I believe DOLP produced Bundeswehr truck crew figures and also crew for FUCHS that might be usable here.
I was put off a bit by the price but finally broke down and ordered one this week. As I have a somewhat convoluted connection to this piece of equipment, I knew I had to build one for the collection.
Aren’t you sure that this wasn’t just the name for the Raketenwerfer on Magirus Jupiter, Hermann? Which would be the LARS 1 then.
In the 1980’s I have seen the “Leichtes Artillerie Raketen System” once during a show in Munster in action. Frightening!
Chris, yes, the price is quite heavy. But honestly I didn’t think twice when I saw the kit at my LHS. I’ve paid 71 Euros for it. Sure the most expensive kit in my collection so far but who cares?
Hi there, according to the books I have, both systems are designated RakW 110mm SF. Speaking of LARS wouldn´t it be cool to have the accompanying FERA radar?
