Looking for 1:35 US tank crew in Tunisia

For my M3 Lee, I am looking for a set of 1:35 crew members with the twill uniform, as they wore in Tunesia. I haven’t been able to find any, but maybe any of you might know a set I am not aware of?

I think there is a half figure in Tamiya’s latest M3 Stuart.

Thanks. A bit meagre to go for a crew of a M3 Lee, with all those doors and hatches, which I like to leave open (as it is a full interior kit)… Plus I’d have to buy a kit for half a fig :frowning:

Its a start. I think there are few figures with that uniform.

Oh, I don’t blame you! I thank you for the effort of doing a suggestion…
It is just a complaint in the direction of the manufacturers…

I agree!

How about these guys?

However, in my experience, miniart figures are nothing to brag about.

They do look the part, don’t they?

I have not much issues with MiniArt figs. Painted a few, but they are not the worst… A bummer they are OOP now :frowning:

Nice find… Now lets see how much they charge for P&P…

I bought from them a couple of times, they charge 6,50 if you use DPD… not to bad… better get another couple of kits from them, no extra charge on postage

With approval of the minister of finance, I just ordered the set…

Could these (with different heads) go for tankers?

Hornet Heads will enhance the basic figures - and they’re relatively easy to come by, and in my view, not punishingly expensive. I used them on my Italian M24 - admittedly post war:

These are resin figs from the Bodi, so the heads should be pretty ok. Is it more of the general looks of them…

I don’t think it was too common for tankers to be in just t-shirts, unless perhaps on the equatorial Pacific islands. Even in the hottest campaigns in the MTO of say the final stages of North Africa in May, or in Sicily in July, the tankers tended to wear at least their HBT coveralls. Being under Patton’s command and his being a stickler for uniform appearance and all that…

Thanks for your input.
The idea is that they are peering into the engine compartment, as if there is a failure back there…
