Looking for any info on any IJN Troop transports?

Looking for any info on WW2 IJN Supply/Troop transport ships. looking at making a harbor diorama (pre Midway or earlier) of the loading afv/trucks etc. on to a supply ship.

Any suggestion on a 1/700 scale model?

There are a lot of 1/700 models from Skywave, Pit Road, Hasegawa and Aoshima available. Go to scalemates and seach these manufacturers there. It is a good starting point to find what you are looking for.

I believe Fujimi also do several IJN and IJA transport/supply ships.

Remember the IJA operated their own ships.
