I am looking for the early 70’s version with the white stars on the dark green paint. I think Tamiya’s early M60A1 had a correct set but there may be others also.
Where they sized different than WW2 stars?
I don’t know, but the other unit, weight markings would also be needed.

Tamiya USA still has the decals for the early M60A1. I ordered a set and will let you know if they are the correct ones incase you want to make an early M60A1.

I have a set of those in my stash, but they’re too far gone to be useful. I mean, not yellowed, but straight up fossilized. 
The Tamya early M60A1 kit decals came in yesterday from Tamiya USA. Looked good so if you want to make an early all green M60A1, Tamiya is probably your best bet for decals. You just need to look up their kit number. There were two that shared the same decal set.
