Looking for Huey Weapons systems mounts

I am trying to Build an Aussie 1/48 UH-1D with rocket pods and minigun fitout as per these images:

I have located suitable rocket pods and miniguns in the correct scale, but I have not had any luck finding the mounts to attach them to the aircraft.

Anyone know where I might find suitable ones, or even know where there might be drawings/dimensions that I could use to 3D model?

Thanks.

Can’t help much here, but I did take these last week for anyone wanting to scratch this mount:

I guess the OP is looking for the gun mount used with the M21 armament subsystem :

Yep, that’s the Mount I am looking for.

I had seen the reskit one, but out of stock most places i found, and approx $30AU is getting a bit steep for something that would need a fair bit of work and has the wrong M60s for the layout I am trying to create.

While i would prefer a bought option, or decent drawings, failing that, i have 1/4 scale 3d model huey of uncertain accuracy that i can use to try and eyeball it and print some testers. I’ll probably throw the results up here and get thoughts if i go that route.

If you want to go the 3D printed route, this guy has what you are looking for in 1/48.

Thank you! I have a few things from cults but had no luck finding those.

Anyone else think that looks like it was soldered together out of plumbing pipes and the wheel mount from a shopping cart?

A friend in my club swears he bolted half of a deuce axle into the bed of a 1 1/4 ton in Vietnam and mounted a mini-gun on top of it,

He does have a penchant for big guns.

Biggest gun I ever fired was a Barrett .50 shorty at an Opfor event. So much fun!

Don’t remember seeing any 1 1/4 tons over there, just 3/4 tons. Curious. Wayne

That’s because my memory is completely off this morning. I’m even watching the Roden kit. (great way for the seller to make you an offer) it is a 3/4, which is why I’m watching it. MIght surprise Gary with it one day.

So I got the models from Cults3D, and the detail on them in the models looks really good.

My biggest gripe with this is that all the parts are modelled as separate tiny items that I would have no hope of assembling if they even managed to print correctly. I had to import them all simultaneously into Orca slicer to get them aligned and export as a single stl to slice in my SLA software.

So far after one attempt printing them is a fail.

First attempt was with ABS-Like Resin from Sunlu, and the mounting arms are just way too delicate. Two of them broke before I even got a chance to try removing them from the supports. I have some eSun PLA-like Resin (which I know is quite brittle), and some Elegoo Standard resin to try.

Failing that I will have to import in to fusion and try and thicken the arms to strengthen them.

The other thing I didn’t realise is that there are two types of minigun mount, I am assuming period dependant.

I have imported that mount in to Fusion and begun modifying it via the old TLAR (That Looks About Right) method, since I don’t have dimensions.

Photos. The grey is abs like resin, and the yellow is pla like resin. Bit hard to see in yellow but it’s the only colour i had in that resin. My standard resin prints are still awaiting removal and cleanup

I will definitely have to thicken the arms, the mounting points either broke off or didn’t print correctly.

The sway braces for the rocket pods also are way too delicate and broke while trying to remove supports. Will need to play with print orientation to see if i can get then to survive better, and will print the rocket mounts as a separate part.
