Looking for an orphan CSAMMS (counter sniper anti-material mount system) like the one pictured above the gun. Tamiya and Meng both make one, and I could use it for a project.
I’m in Kennesaw’s GA USA, so probably best if you are on the same continent(s) in the western hemisphere.
TIA

Hi, Ted,
Can you indicate the sprue/part numbers on Meng and Tamiya kits?

MENG M1A2

I’ve added several instruction panels, showing the subs and the final position
The bracket that mounts the M2 HBMG to the gun mantlet might have the MG molded with it.
I need the bracket and accoutrements as I kit bash a future-SPAAG called the AGDS. It was a notional vehicle that the wars in Nogorno-Karabahk and Ukraine have resurrected. It needs a crew served weapon, since the 3DP roof is a bit crowded.
Tamiya 326: M1A2 Abrams Tusk II is similar, fewer parts maybe:
In both cases, the gun bracket that attaches to the mantlet is my “ask”. My hands shake a bit, and my fabrication efforts have been ugly.
Thanks James- I hope this helps clarify for anyone whose spares bin might have an orphan!
I’m going to close the thread. The universe is big, and there might be spares out there, but I need to move ahead. I will crutch an M1A2 SEPv2 RWS onto the roof, similar to how it’s actually done on the M1A2 SEPv2! Genius.
Such a thing is tall, but that’s why the RWSII on the M1A2 SEPv3 got shortened to about half the profile of the earlier kits.
Pics shortly at the kit-build thread.
And has anyone noticed the severe shortage of Mr. Color at your LHS? I’ve walked both of the Hobby Town stores in Atlanta GA: the shelves are bare! ARGH!
