M-22 Locust in Egypt army

I have some pictures and don’t know, did Egypt painted M-22 In sand colour in 1948 war or was it in original green?
Any ideas?

Those particular photos look like OD green to me. At a later date maybe they did repaint them in a sand color ? Very interesting because I had no idea the used them. Great pics!

Olive Drab all the way. Also Star Decals has decals available for an Egyptian vehicle but I cannot find the specific set.

british green?

They were so dusty/dirty and a bit bleached by then, it would not matter which green you used - US OD or SCC15.

Yes. This one:

it’s clearly a conjecture…Egyptian Locust arrived from British depot and probably they didn’t repaint it.

The ones knocked out/captured by the IDF were apparently dark (OD or SCC15) rather than sand. Three tanks captured intact remained in IDF service until 1952.
