@Rod_The-Fixer -This topic is my favorite. I have built over 70 Humvee models. I can help if you need it, but I can see that you are doing great.
Thanks in advance for the help mate.
What color and manufacturer did you use to paint the chassis frame?
Gonna be looking forward to this one. Really wished I could find a 1/24 scale version of one of these.
Looks great Rodolfo. What did you use to paint and finish the .50 cal machine gun ?
Hi Richard,
for the first time I tried to use Tamiya LP-19 Gun Metal
Oh ok. Really looks great. Gotta try that myself
Tamiya XF-84 Dark Iron is really good for painting the weapon metal parts too.
@Rod_The-Fixer are you sure about the black gunner platform?
The MG tripod should be the painted in a metal shade just like the MG.
Enjoy the weathering
Olivier
Looking good. The ammo can racks and above gunners platform should be green though, not black.
Thanks for the tips mates …

Looks good, but you have the wheels mixed up. The two left side wheels are the rear wheels, and the right side are the fronts. The rear wheels have an added piece in the center that can be used as a capstan to assist in getting the vehicle unstuck.
