M113A2 Medak Pocket

Finally knocked off a long-time shelf queen. This one’s based on a Canadian M113A2 from the Medak Pocket in ’93.

Tried to match the photo as close as I could replicating the grime, streaking, and that beat-up UN white that shows how hard these were run in theatre. Glad to finally get it finished

Tamiyas M113 was used as the base with Legends Canadian conversion added. The .50cal and links are from Master, Diehl tracks are 3D Microcosmos, SKP lenses, aerial is from Leopard Workshop, stretchers from Dijiti productions.

Wow, this is absolutely amazing.

I do know what happened there. Major respect to the Canadians.

God bless you Canadians.

I really like how you have gone about this Alex. As if a big white M113 isn’t eye catching enough you’ve really made it even more interesting with that weathering. I think that 50 is pretty damn nice too- finely detailed and painted with the spent brass and links a superb touch alongside the blue helmet.

@Tank_1812 Thanks Ryan!

@M70 I had a chance to speak to the driver of the vehicle and wanted to convey his story with this build.

@metalhead85 Thanks Richard!

@Karl187 this is my second attempt at a White UN tub, and I learnt a lot from my first build. The white is a great base for grimy weathering that was prevalent in UNPROFOR.
@Stikpusher thanks Carlos!

@bwilt thanks Bert!
