M1151 Armored Plates Question

Does anyone know if there are any 1/35 sets for the Academy M1151 for the armored plates at the back of rear doors and on the rocker panels? There is also one over the fuel filler area. The armored plates are pointed out below.

I suppose these would need to be scratch built?

This is the original layout without the armored plates. You can see from the above photos that the newer armored plates are quite thick.

No, it’s additional armor. You have to make it yourself. Frag 7

Thanks! Looks like I will be scratch building it or at least try to.

Can anyone ID the two smaller antennas on this M1151?

They are also on this M1114.

We had a system we simply called “the jammer.” Not Duke, or any other system - just the jammer. We only needed it on one gun truck on patrol.
You can barely see one of the antennae here:

And both in this photo - they’re very faint:

Ah, I just found my best photo yet:

This may be a view of the actual unit: (99% chance)

Thanks! Great reference photos! I am planning to build an M1151 with those antennas. I have to find something in my spares bin thin enough.

I found these M1114’s with interesting antennas as well. The first one has a short, fat antenna on the rear hatch that looks like a mini DUKE.

The second one has the same type of short, fat antenna and a DUKE.

The third one has two short, fat ones on the left and one on the right.

For the base I would just bend some brass shim to the correct shape. Cut it with scissors. The base of those antennae look like you could use brass .50 cal shell casings.

Yes, the bases are much smaller than the regular ones. I don’t have any brass -50cal casings though so I have to dig through the spares box for the bases as well.

I found some 20mm ammo belts from the Academy M163 that could work for the bases. I also found a couple Live Resin antenna bases. I could use the top part above the spring for the bases.
