Thank you.
Gino,
I donāt suppose you might be able to work up the MEP-004A 15 Kw generator trailer (or know of one that could be modified without too much work - such as the Hobby Link 804 [though that one might be too small? or need too much done]) that the old Tacfire system used?
Thoughts? Input? Iām pretty sure I can scratch build the generator itself with the āass-kitā (acoustic suppression kit) as I have some good pictures of one sitting on the ground without the trailer.
Mike
Hi Mike. I didnāt design the trailer, just downloaded and printed it. The Hobby Link trailer may work. I have one of them for sale too.
Thank you, Gino. I saw that. There are big differences between the one you have and what Iām looking for - may or may not be too much for me to modify. Iāll do some more research on the -004A trailer versus that one. Hopefully the one you have can be made to work. Iāll certainly let you know.
Mike
The trailers look pretty much the same to me. Looks like a little more bracing and the fold-down platform added on the 004.

I guess that both trailers above are based on the same 2-1/2 ton M200A1 chassis
Just like the M58 MICLIC trailer
H.P.
It does appear that way.
I just added an AFV Club M35A2 truck to my stash - that water buffalo would be the perfect add-on.
That trailer is simply amazing! Beautiful paint job and light weathering. I thought it was a pic of the real thing while I was passing through the posts. Wow!
Yes it s PSM version
Iām almost finished with the hobbylink trailer and I can say itās very good for what it isā¦all Iāve added are the chains and a few of the missing lift ringsā¦also drilled holes for where the airlines would go
I was in 1-35AR. Also drank out of these.
Thatās an amazing build. Imagine that rumbling loudly next to the TOC during field problems.
I drove a 5t with a big hut and one of those generators behind me. Now, so help me, I need that kit.
Sam way i feel; I drove a Deuce and a Half with the water buffalo for the first couple years of my military life as a supply clerk.
Is a sentimental thing for me.
If you are still looking for the MEP-804 trailer to print, it was done as a file by the same guy who did the M149
Thatās pretty nifty, but i donāt own a 3D printer.
That looks great.
Thanks Ralph. It was a fun little build.
Need some help or advice. What is the best glue you have used for Hobby Link items. Working on the AFV M51A2 adding the HL M800 hood. I am using CA glue but did you have trouble with it the resin parts sticking to the plastic parts. How long did it for a strong hold.
