M1A2 Abrams Sepv3 Folding Skirt Lock?

I’m creating a model of said tank, with my references there are multiple instances of the Sepv3 tank with and without this “lock”, I’m just wondering if anyone knows anything about this

Looks like early V3’s did not have them, but later production models do. Like always, pick a tank to replicate, and if it has them, make them

Yep, it’s now standard & seems to be bleeding across to other models, including the M1A2T.
