Very nice work. It’s always interesting when people pick specific units. 2-7 'CAV was my battalion in OIF II. Due to the BCT realignment and addition of the 4th BDE, 2-7 left the 3rd BCT. Previously, 2-7 was a mech infantry battalion and most of the 2-7 men with time left in 1st 'CAV were split between 1-12 'CAV and 3-8 'CAV, which both became CAB’s. I went to 3-8 for OIF 06-08 (Sep 06 - Dec 07).
What made you choose 2-7?

Thank you. I didn’t go into the build with any one vehicle in mind. I had gotten a set of decals for the Abrams, and when looking throught the options, the one for the 2-7 caught my eye. I did a bit of research and that cinched it for me.
