M4A3 76mm 1/35 Dragon

Howdy! new to the site, and fairly new to modeling. Just a couple of shots of my second build. 1/35 M4A3 from DML.

a few goofs and hiccups along the way, but I’m pleased with it overall.

thanks for taking a look!

I used to mash Monogram and Revell airplane kits together as a kid.

I’ve wanted to get into the hobby for some time now. After a year or so of reading, youtube videos, and looking at all the fantastic builds on this site and others, I took the plunge with a Tamiya M4…it came out…eeehhh. Used it’s carcass to practice on for a few months before doing this one.

I was just gifted an airbrush for Father’s day, I’m stoked to learn how to use it.

I agree, this is pretty darn good for a beginner. I got back into this about 25 years ago after not doing it since I was in highschool and I’m still not producing this caliber of work. Some folks just have an extra modeling gear that I unfortunately never got, but I love the hobby just the same
