I like the looks of it. The colours or the amount of light here communicate the desert environment quite well.

I’m not so sure about that position, though… I’m no tanker, but it looks to me as thout the field of fire of that tank is severely limited. Getting out of that position FAST doesn’t look easy to do neither. So if it was my tank I’d try to look for some different ambush position…

Anyhow - thanks for sharing and good luck with your next builds, have a nice day!

Great job on that M60. The finish came excellent, love the dusty grimy look, and the ground work looks very convincing.
As far as moving out of that position, all he would have to do is back up no?

That’s the thing… You don’t have a rear view mirror in this tank… But you have a rotating turret. So you could position the tank so that you could initiate the ambush and than get away by driving straight on. This way you could also have the engine and transmission between you and the enemy…

Confused thought Amps is always at Camp Hill or Southbend?

Not always. It’s a rather recent development. In the past they’ve been in Dayton, Chattanooga, Fredricksburg, and a couple other places I can’t remember.

For AMPS Nationals no. This year in South Bend. Not official yet but 2025 back to CH. If you’re asking about our club we meet the second Saturday of the month at 5pm. Conveniently located across from the LHS, at the Lower Allen Township building. You can visit our website centralpaipms.com.
