That’s one thing Vodnik didn’t miss. The article is well worth the read.

You may want to correct the notches on the ramp as well. A lot of people have missed this:

Unfortunatelhy the perfect Bradley build does not exist. But he did catch one thing no one else (other than myself) that I know of got right when using the older kits. He reshaped the notches under the rear ramp. Even Vodnik, with his attention to detail missed that one. Here’s what I mean. In this photo you can see where I’ve reshaped one of the notches - the others remain untouched. Another thing not in the article is the welds between the large armor plates. They should not be there. A lot of folks miss this or simply choose not to address it.

Here I’ve removed them. All that’s left to do is scribe the joints in:

And those molded on hand holds. Some have complained about them. Just slip a chisel blae underneath them and lift them up.

M2/M3 Bradley Reference

Another difference in the Kinetic kit worth mentioning - the cable steps along the side armor. I remember someone complaining about that when the Orochi kit came out. Kinetic did not make these separate parts as did Meng and even Academy, yet no one finds it as offensive now. In fairness, it would have been a nice improvement yet not all is lost. All of the Bradley builds I did back in the day (I can kind of date some of them going back to Iraq with the grey cutting matt) saw me simply slicin…

All of these little things by themselves don’t mean much, but when you add them all up you’ll get a much more accurate model with little cost or effort.
