Initially, I think “Not my cup of tea”, and yet, and yet…!

That stuff has an aura about it…it’ll bite you hard…

I’ve recorded here earlier when the genre cropped up, that I first encountered them when I was in, of all places, Oman; a local supermarket was packed with the things (1:20 scale) and yet I didn’t sort of get it. I’d never seen them before but despite being of passing interest, left me cold.

More recently, I discovered that they’re now available, or a lot are, in 1:35, and that got me thinking…

The only down-side to this kit is that there is no interior cockpit (yet!!) so you have to build it with the cover closed. Or do some inventive scratch-building! :disappointed:

Did this ‘Krote’ many years ago, back when they were originally released as SF3D by Nitto.

The kit went together well, but I did make a few modifications.

I mean this stuff is weird, but strangely familiar.

Have the hasegawa 1/20th kit in the stash, but will be interested in this for the 1/35th shelf. Is that your build of the falke in the pics Leo @Biggles50 , if so very nice indeed, lovely camo. And nice crisp build of the Krote Albert @Taffy3 .

Can’t take credit for this one. I found the pic on Google. This the 1/20 kit, presumably OOB, with nice camo job. :+1:
