These are SO COOL. I wish I was even half good enough a figure painter to do these justice.

Ironic really as all my figures look like zombies but not in a good way hahahaha

Man, not being a good figure painter is in fact an advantage for painting zombies, just do what you usually do  (I am no better, either…)

Mine all look like they fell in a bucket of paint and decided to dry off in front of a blast furnace.

It’s one of my 2025 bucket list items - to work harder on my figure work and try to bring it up to a level where it doesnt detract from every build I add them to.

While I’m not really into the Zombieland genera, I bought the Masterbox 1/35 female motorcycle rider. The parts and fit of the motorcycle and female rider were excellent, the details a bit flat though, but there are LOTS of 1/35 kits to donate parts for the figure.

What is fun about zombies and Survivors is that there is no shortage of 1/35 weapons and gear to equip humans with, and the Survivors can be customized endlessly. Trumpeter, DML, Gecko, Live-Resin, Magic Factory, Hobby Fan, Tamiya, Italeri, Jason Studio, MENG, etc. all make 1/35 weapons, gear, backpacks, and tools. No one said that the Post-Apocalypse lacked weapons, gear, and tools to arm the humans.

And now with some 1/35 vehicles, it gets even more fun to create a Zombieland Survivor vehicle.

It’s a fortunate coincidence that the Master Box Mongoose Buggy should be available by the time these figures are released.

This might be useful too:

That was the EXACT vehicle that I was thinking about as it allows for a lot of weapons, gear, and cargo customizations.

The Magic Factory MRZR crew can probably sit in it, with some gear modifications, and Live-Resin snd Legend Productions make all sorts of side-mounted and top rollbar machine guns. It all depends on how much the modeler wants to spend outfitting a custom Survivor vehicle.

I’m thinking of a somewhat more “Mad Max” crew figures rather than “Stalker”… Oddly enough, these gals might provide them:

The girl in the front being garrotted, the one strangling her, and the one in the background with the sickle being booted in the gut all seem to have potential to be repositioned into a semi-recumbent seated position.

Cheers,

M

Welcome to the forum, Anatolij.
A sudden applicaiton of brakes is going to neuter a few guys.

Maybe… after these kits are released… a new zombie / dystopian / apocalyptic campaign?

It’s really nice to see Masterbox continue to produce new model kits and figures each year. More new ones can be found on their website.

Welcome to KitMaker, Anatolij! I am a great fan of your work and the skill and imagination displayed. I trust the crew and accessories will be available separately from the vehicle? One thing I would appreciate is if you could incorporate alternative sets of arms, heads, etc., more often if there is room on the frame/sprue; you already do this on an occasional basis and it is a great incentive to make multiple purchases of the same kit.
Finally, I have always thought your 1:24th scale “Jacqueline” figure from 24033 is perfect for Steampunk. Might it be worthwhile to reproduce her (but standing in a neutral/relaxed pose) in 1:35th scale along with three or four other figures suitable for that genre?

Regards,

M

Welcome Anatolij. I would like to see the 1/24 Last Bridge set (24078) in 1/35. They would really go well with other 1/35 figures and can be used as refugees (without the weapons) as well.

A couple other 1/24 Last Bridge figures I would like to see in 1/35 as well.
