Front fork assembly issues here. Steps 5 and 6 show assembly of the shocks and holding unit w/screws. There is a small tab that should face to the right, in order to link up with the stabilizer strut. The cross-bar that is held w/2 screws only installs one way, but if directions are followed, and cross-bar installed the only way possible, then fork assembly would face 180 degrees off, with stabilizer tab on left side. Contrary to directions.

I was able to work through this issue. As typical for many kits these days, instructions tend to flip views from one step to the next; meaning paired parts or very similar-appearing parts that are faced in one direction in step X are reversed in the following step when more parts are added.
Fortunately, many of the sub-assemblies in this kit use small screws to assemble into larger assemblies and once I could visualize the error, I was able to de-construct and get things straightened out.
