Meng A7V Build

Just started this yesterday. Buddy gave it to me as a present and few years ago and I thought that I’d finally get around to it. No interior however.

I’m not a WWI guy but it amuses me that a recent variant of the Leopard 2 tank is the A7V. I guess Rheinmetall has a sense of humor… or history.

Meantime, your model is coming along nicely.

It’s a great kit, I built one a couple years back with full interior and 3D printed engines. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out!

I have to paint this before assembly as it will be hard to get at all the nooks and cranees later.

Paint on. I used AK Real Interactive Field Gray color.

Did you follow the direction when adding the floor to the hull? I’m thinking of assembling all the hull sides together and then to the floor and then to the hull. It seems like it would be easier to align all these parts together that way. Thanks

Jeez , hard to remember, I think I did the floor to the suspension first, then added and aligned the sides. I left one side removable to allow the interior to be visible.

I see, thats how the instructions tell one to do it. I’ll have to ponder.
