Merkava 4M 1/35 Meng

Hi all
For once I do not have WIP pictures to show. I built this Merkava for the training room of my son unit. The request was to build it OOTB without weathering however I applied an overall dark brown wash to enhance the details a bit.
During the build I have had some issues with the Trophy sub-assemblies and the workable tracks. I think that a jig for the latter would have been a nice touch.
The clear parts for the vision blocks are nearly useless as the positioning part remains visible behind the glass.

However it is a very nice model and quick to build despite its size.

Looks good,it’s nice to build a cleaner tank model sometimes.Surprised about not having a jig for the tracks,I built a slightly different Meng Merkava IV,it didn’t have that canopy,and a couple of other of their excellent armor kits,and they all came with track jigs,perhaps yours was missing.

Looks great and agree with Anthony, a clean finish works well sometimes.
