Does anyone have images that show the 50cal above the main gun and where the wires connect. Any help will be great and have my thanks.
Do you want wires for the solenoid, or the pull cords for the triggers? If you want the pull cords, the above photo shows how they pull on levers that rotate and activate the triggers.
Great photo. I know what my 50 will look like on my Gaza Mk4M now.
Solenoid type please which I think is covered in those provided. Thank you all
I don’t think it’s a ranging MG in the traditional sense, but a plain old bad ass MG.
I called it a ranging MG as that what a gun that follows the main gun can or use to be used for that purpose.
Well, actually that is called a coaxial machine gun as it is mounted in line with the main gun. With the tank having a Laser range finder, a ranging MG is not needed.
I just started hand-painting the turret MGs on my Takom Mk.2B; the ranging MG was the first one I did. You can see on the Mk.4 (at least I think so), has a sighting scope system with a metal box over it to protect it from small arms fire and/or shrapnel.
Just so you know its not a ranging MG its used to take out softer targets the 4m has a laser range finder like all modern tanks have
I think it is called the, Counter Sniper/Anti Materiel Mount (CSAMM).
Counter-Sniper/Anti-Material Mount; abbreviated as CS/AMM, CSAMM, or CS-AMM is the U.S.Army designation for a similar weapon mount
H.P.
This is the one that goes on the Mk.2B. I had to add a thin piece of sheet styrene to plug up the ammo box. Have to add some extra rounds into the breech.
