This stunning build of the Merkava Mk.1 Hybrid from modeller Mariusz Artur Hasiuk The brainchild of General Israel Tal, chief of the Armored Forces, the Merkava is Israel’s first and only indigenous main battle tank. The tank was specially designed for Israeli tank doctrine: low to the ground, with a powerful gun, the Merkava even had the engine placed in the front of the tank to provide protection to the crew. Combined with heavily sloped composite armour.

An exceptionally beautiful build! My only criticism is the excessive track sag.

Now it is corrected by removal of two track links on boths sides

That is gorgeous. I had wondered what a darker approach to IDF grey/green would look like if you used oils to lighten it and i suspected it would really make the mud, streaking and rust pop. I was right. Fantastic looking build.
