Micro Machines Campaign

Done!

These are my personal creations and probably not 100% authentic, but I just wanted to show my respect for the Ukrainians! :v:
Good luck mates for finishing your builds, too!

Completely agree, those trucks are lovely Peter. Congratulations on finishing.

So with a return to some form of normality, I was able to do a little work when I got in from work.

Cleaned up the axles and started assembly of the turret.

I ordered a solidarity Tee a few days ago which came handy to present these 8-wheelers nicely.
Thanks for this fine campaign which I really enjoyed even as an aircraft enthusiast…
Cheers mates!

Fantastic work Peter and congratulations on finishing.

Has anyone else completed their builds?

If you can let myself or @Panzer_modeler know we can see about getting the awards out. I’m still on a learning curve on how to do this.

For everyone else (including myself) we’ve got until the end of June.

All the best.

I did.

I’m calling this one done. Revell of Germany (ex Matchbox) 1/76 Sherman Firefly.

Not a bad kit considering it’s age. About half of the assembly and painting issues were self induced. It’s only my second armor kit, so I;m sure that there are plenty of issues.

Thanks to Ezra and Stephen for sponsoring this build. I fully enjoyed it and it got TWO kits onto the finished shelf!

Hi Mark,
great job on these two “monsters”
The Sherman was one of my first minitanks I played with as a little kid…
Congrats!

Peter, great job on these massive vehicles. Looking great.

Mark, beautiful little Sherman. Matchbox might not be up to todays standards, but still a great trip down memory lane for some of us

Brilliant work on the Sherman’s Mark.

Congratulations on finishing.

Tidied up the tyres and wheel hubs today. The hubs have a bit of a loose fit, but a bit of dust should help hide any problems. I also added a small piece of tube to the hull front for the spare to fit onto. One of the things I do remember about building this year’s ago, is that there’s not much for it to grip to. Back then I ended up superglueing it on, but I know more these days to engineer a solution.

Tomorrow I’ll see about contacting admins to award those who’ve completed.

Might need a bit of help.

Who do I contact about getting the ribbons out?

Thanks

Stephen

Staff Jim. Although it would probably best to wait and send them all at once as I understand it is not an easy process. He can take up to a few weeks to get around to it, depending how busy real life is.

Thanks Peter.

Might be a good idea to give it a while then. Give the last few time to finish.

Who else is still building?

Me. Hoping to lay paint Wednesday. It is finally drying up here and I’ll be working from home, so lunchtime will be paint time if I am lucky.
