Can I get away with just painting this Olive Drab?
Cheers,

The rim measures 12,5 mm.
RMPs in Northern Ireland during the 70s drove Austin Maxis. Airfix used to make the civilian version in 1:32 scale. Now very expensive, if you can find them!
That’s interesting Steve, I have one in my stash!
I just wonder - and not to gainsay you - were they in fact Austin Maxis or the Austin 1800, which was in wide use as a staff car in any case? They were quite similar at first glance (and in the dim and distant past that’s why I acquired the Airfix kit, as I had plans on it as just such a staff car).
They may indeed have been 1800s, although we always referred to them as Maxis. I travelled in them quite often! You are lucky to have one of the Airfix kits, it would look good with RMP markings although reference photos of these vehicles are very hard to find.
I must admit with a blue light and some decent markings it would look the biz!
Hello everybody!
So for starters here is a badge of the 18th Military Police Brigade - the command of the US Army Military Police during the Vietnam War:
And here is the wheel cover for 12,5 mm diameter:
Now it would be quite easy to also do the windshield plate - but here I waould also ask you to provide the dimensions for that plate. If somebody has any remarks here or request for changes, please post them here.
Good luck with your MP builds and have a nice day
Paweł
