Should that be sand shields?
I was under the impression that “sun shields” were used to make tanks look like trucks
and would be covering/hiding the topsides of the tank?
Perhaps the suspension gets too hot and need sunshields?
There is an umbrella on the turret. The model comes with new tooled, precision umbrellas. That is my story and I’m sticking to it.
I read somewhere that these Honeys - in use by the British Army - had no seat for the commander; he had to sit on a sort of sling. Is that so? Clearly no way to go to war, especially if one is an English Gentleman.
