Interesting. I haven’t seen those tracks before (not that that means anything!), presumably they are a form of Ostketten. But surely not “Late Production” with the metal cab, the late ones have the “Einheiteshaus” don’t they?

This collage of photos my help to bring some further confusion into the matter of
prototype vs early vs late vs even later and other changes.
The early pressed sheet metal door was later replaced by a composite door before the even later
change to the angular flat surfaces cab.
The louvered grille would indicate a somewhat later cab but the doors in Miniarts images appears to still be a pressed metal door.

Thanks. That would seem to confirm it’s not a “Late Production” version.

Looking at this article, it appears to be a late production RSO/01 as opposed to a late production RSO with simplified cabs, which were RSO/02 and 03.

The top photo looks like some kind of trials/prototype version.
