More tank riders from the look of them. The combination of gasplane, gaiters and M1936 tunic are unlikely, but possible I suppose. The later jacket without the pleated pockets would have worked better with the gaiters IMHO.

In MHO I would say that the gaiters were said to de distributed from 1940 onwards. Therefore it may not be impossible that the figurines are dressed that way. In particular that supplies were pretty hard to come by in combat zones. This suggests that nearly anything goes on platoon level or even lower. Many good wishes to ya all.

I’m with Hohenstaufen on this one. The gear assortment isn’t impossible, but is a little ambitious. The gaiters shown are the “M43” Gemaschen issued out in mid '43. There was a 1940 type of gaiter that existed prior, but had a very different look and was usually only used by some pioneers and gerbrigsjeager.

The Feldblouse that these soldiers wear is the 1940 (Feldgrau collar) and it may be the 1941 with six buttons.

The most normal combination and the one that should be is with Jackboots.

Spanish División Azul. USSR.1941, September.

Seems like a nice set, but its true that there is some mismatch going on. Gaiters and early blouse aside, the set is also showing a very late war K98k in combination with decaled helmets. Small mistakes, but easily avoidable.

The type of K98 Miniart is presenting in this kit & other kits of WWII is 1942 Production
I looked at this kit, it is perfect for mid-late 1943 scenario best at eastern front or occasionally at Italy,
When boots with gaiters were issued alongside M43 unifrom but M36 & M40 uniforms were still widely used
