These look really cool! However, I somehow sense a ‘Xenomorph’ disguised in pipe camouflage lurking behind that open doorway! :alien:

Or an 80’s martial arts hero taking on a bunch of gang members one at a time in the final battle.

Oh dear! A multi-purchase must-have for the steampunk-inclined…

I can’t wait for the 1:48th version.

Cheers,

No reason you can’t use this. It becomes twelve inch pipe instead of eight inch.
I’ve advocated for something like this for years. Reminds me of my time at Good Hope Refinery in Norco before I enlisted. Maybe throw in a few gate valves to go along with the globe valves.

I would have liked to see the pipe provided in lengths so that you could cut as desired or needed.

We’ll have to see if it matches up to any available Evergreen. You can skip the flanges and weld several lengths together, including your 90’s, just like a pipefitter would.
If the right diameter is not available, something will be close. Just wrap the pipe in insulation and bands to hide the discrepancy, add steam steam tracers out of copper wire…This could be quite the fun little set.

Finally build this

That should come with Mario, Luigi, and some of the flowers that spit fire.

Starting point for a Pompidou Centre building build…

But, since that would cost you an arm and a leg to purchase all those sets to complete it, you won’t be able to build this?

I don’t know yet what I’m gonna use this for, but it’s just too cool. Maybe as a backdrop for a rusted out truck, or knocked out tank. Heck, maybe I will just build it by itself.

But we all are. Resistance is fusile…when it comes to bending pipes that is, otherwise it’s just futile.

Totally man :building_construction:

I’m thinking it’s a start for a Steampunk Yellow Submarine, helmed by Capt. Nemo.

All kidding aside, well done MiniArt! An accessory set with lots of possibilities. And while I have your ear, MiniArt, how about a few more modern civilian things like cars, motorcycles, banks of hi-tech processors… modern stuff… for dioramas. Thank you.

Someone say, ‘Bender’?

True. I just stumbled across this pic looking for something else. Submarine berth at Pearl Harbor, not 200 meters from where I used to live. Plenty of 1/35 U Boot stuff out there…

I’ve found a new reason to want this set:

Time for another research trip. Or maybe Trumpeter would step up and do one.
