1/35? They just released their “Gangster Car” in 1/24. Not to mention the old IMC “Gangbusters” cars that have been reissued.

Maybe we can expect 1/35 cars/trucks from the 50s and 60s, and dare I suggest the 70’s too?

Cars/Trucks of this time are for me very welcome !

Maybe they’ll release a Vito Corleone, or another mafia guy, or perhaps Elliot Ness and his band of untouchables?? Cool!

If MiniArt is willing to expand 1/35 scale offerings beyond armor, it opens the door to diorama in a box models depicting many important moments in history. Scenes from famous movies that have fallen out of copyright is another potential field to reap.

For example, an obvious diorama in a box is the assassination of Franz Ferdinand.

Certainly a new direction, but I can’t help feeling those guys are dressed more like G-men than gangsters. All in trench-coats? Three-piece/double-breasted suits might have been better. So far they’ve got nothing to shoot at, so there must be further sets to come (?)

(Doug’s got the right idea with Franz Ferdinand, if we’re talking about an automobile assassinations series, how about JFK. Too soon? I already did Heydrich)

I knew you did it! You’ve finally confessed to killing Heydrich!

Would work well as 1920s IRA men (with more appropriate weaponry). Copper State make some vehicles and figures from this period.

It looks like a good set and a new theme in this scale. The look is good and would likely work for either side of the law, but they do look more dapper so better suited to mobsters. I think they’d work from around the mid 30’s to 50’s, particularly if weaponry was tweaked to the era. I thought a shotgun would be a good inclusion though.

I can’t find any uniformed police from that period of history at this scale on the market Can assume they will be coming out at some time but I bet Ness and his team get released next along with some vehicles.

I also reckon the current available crop of US WW2 motorbikes will also probably get re released as US police bikes to go with these themes.

Yes, moonshine runners parked and loading up next to a still or speeding across a bridge over a crick.

@Harv I see the heads from your T-800 figures on these ‘gangster figures’ !
