Miniature Tugboat Vingette

Not quite a ship, but when my coworker found out I had a resin 3D printer he asked me to print him a tugboat and I couldn’t in good conscience hand it over in unpainted resin!

I debated whether or not I wanted this to be my first experience trying to replicate water and ultimately decided on doing a little drydock vignette. Only my second boat model (after making Tamiya’s PBR) and I think I’ve caught the ship bug which will nicely round out the hobby for me after building planes, tanks, and cars for many years.

The tugboat was printed using an Anycubic Photon M3 at a 0.01mm layer height. Base was carved from XPS foam.

Cheers!
